What You Will Learn (6-Week Curriculum)
The curriculum follows the six domains of the Databricks exam. Percentages show each domain’s exam weighting.
Week 1 – Generative AI Application Design (14%)
Generative AI and LLM fundamentals, problem decomposition, LLM application architecture, selecting models, tools and approaches, designing practical GenAI solutions.
Week 2 – Data Preparation (14%)
Preparing data for GenAI, document processing, chunking strategies, embeddings, vector representations, preparing data for retrieval.
Weeks 3–4 – Application Development (30%)
LLM-powered applications, prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI Search, semantic similarity search, LLM chains, model integration, building GenAI applications with Databricks.
Week 5 – Assembling & Deploying Applications (22%)
Model Serving, application deployment, production architecture, connecting models and retrieval systems, deploying LLM-powered solutions.
Week 6 – Governance (8%), Evaluation & Monitoring (12%) and Final Preparation
Unity Catalog, data and AI governance, access control, security, responsible AI. LLM evaluation, response quality and relevance, performance and production monitoring, application improvement. Exam revision, mock examination and gap analysis.
Every week includes hands-on labs, a quiz and practice questions.
Real-World Capstone Project
Build an end-to-end Generative AI application on Databricks.
Data Preparation → Embeddings → Retrieval → RAG → LLM Application → Evaluation → Deployment → Monitoring
The project gives you practical experience to show in interviews and in your professional portfolio.
Databricks Certification Preparation
You will receive certification-focused lessons, practice questions, topic-based assessments, exam-focused revision, a mock examination, knowledge-gap identification and final exam-readiness review.
